My mother told me that when she was young, my grandparents were very strict, so I did not go out at night. But when they finished their classes she went to the "Boom Boom", a famous soda fountain of the time with their friends. They came and chose a table, they sat down and bought 1 root soda and a piece of cake.
Other days they went to play volleyball on the high school courts and when it was a special date, she went to the parties the high school organized.
When I asked him about the parties, she told me that they were not like now, there is techno or regaeton music, alcohol, drugs etc. They were parties in high school, already from 5 pm to 11 pm, they played disco or 80s music and the atmosphere was super quiet, but even so my grandparents did not let her go to those parties much.
